Job title: MARKETING ASSISTANT – CEE (Central and Eastern Europe) and Distributor Markets

Reporting to: COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER - EMEA

Location: DELTA PARK, limited travel requirements

Working pattern: 08.30 – 16.30 Hours – Monday to Friday

Exempt or non exempt: Exempt

The purpose of this role is:

To provide marketing support to our new and established direct commercial operations in central and eastern Europe and across our EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) distributor markets.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

Supported by the EMEA Communications Manager, you will be working closely with managers across the EMEA region to support the development and implementation of their annual marketing plans. This includes:

o The development and co-ordination of a range of marketing materials, such as:
- Sales support/product detailing material.
- Patient education and promotional material.
- In-store display materials.
- Professional relations articles and assets.
- Trade presentations.

o Liaison with media owners and managing the preparation and production of trade and consumer advertising – on and offline.

o The execution of direct marketing programmes – print and email marketing.

o Event management support – including the preparation of exhibition materials and displays.

o Support of new product launch activity and rationalisation communications.

o Support of sales promotion activity.

o Update of Website content – keeping relevant websites up to date (through a content management system – no programming skills are required).

o Public relations - developing a PR database and fulfilling press releases to these PR contacts.

o Acting as gatekeeper for asset requests such as imagery and logos.

o Support EMEA regional marketing as and when required.

o Liaison between markets and EMEA regional marketing.



Knowledge and skills required:

• A good standard of written and spoken English and Polish is essential
• Strong attention to detail specifically as it pertains to proof-reading.
• Excellent PC skills – specifically a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook – knowledge of Project would be an advantage but is not essential).
• A knowledge/understanding of the marketing mix and familiarity with media (advertising and editorial) would be a distinct advantage.
• Confidence to manage third-party suppliers such as advertising agencies and media owners.
• Adaptable and flexible to shifting business priorities.
